Hey there!

Well, hello there friends! It's been a while! I know I know...I'm a terrible blogger! Life has been pretty busy though! I'll try to catch ya up...highlight style!

LDS mission to Russia and Kazakhstan. Hmmm I don't even think I could sum this up in an entire blog in and of itself, let alone right here, but one word that comes to mind is AMAZING!!! I love the people there so incredibly much. I miss it so much it hurts! I'm going back, I don't know when, but it's gonna happen peeps!

My family grew. It was a great reunion with my family when I came home! It was crazy how much all of my nieces and nephews grew! (umm and they haven't stopped growing...excuuuuse me!) I loved being able to spend some time at home.

Mission reunion and General Conference. I had the opportunity to go to Utah twice in October, once for General Conference and a mission reunion. And the other just to spend time with my parents and also visit more friends and family in Utah. It was so great! Reunions in general are just one of the best things ever. I feel like every time I have a reunion (I'm not necessarily talking about a big planned event, but just seeing someone after being away) it's the best thing ever. I feel like those reunions are little glimpses into eternity and the joyous reunions we will have there.

Kauai with my sistas. I was lucky enough to go to the ah-mazing island of Kauai with Corrine, Alisa and Kate!! Oh my gosh it's beautiful!! I loved every second of it and just wanna go back. right now.

Christmas, well, all of the holidays. I love the holidays! I loved being around my family for them. Although, I'm not going to lie, every time a holiday rolls around I tend to reflect on past year and what I was doing at that time. I kinda got homesick for my mission every single holiday, but being with my family made it that much better.

BYU-Idaho. In January I returned to BYU-Idaho to continue pursuing a degree in Communications. It was fun to be back and make new friends since all of my old ones were gone. I guess that happens when you leave for 18 months. Good things there's always room for more friends! There have been lots of fun things I've done since I've been at school, but I don't know if I'll catch them up all here.

Bowling 'cuz I'm cool. I've always wanted to join a bowling team here with RecSports and in the Winter semester I finally did it! No, I'm not a bowler, but I loooooved it! It was so fun, and I made great friends along the way.

Bridal Shower for Melinda. I was thrilled to help my sister Kate throw my sister Melinda a bridal shower. It was so fun, I just love parties. And of course I'm beyond happy for my sista Melinda!

Caleb and Melinda's wedding. In April I was able to attend my first sealing! My sister was married and sealed in the Salt Lake temple to Caleb. I am so happy for them and so glad I got to be part of their special day. I am thrilled that I was able to gain a new brother-in-law, two nieces and two nephews! Party time! I'm the fun aunt! ;)

Twenty-five. I turned 25. hmmm...'nuf said.

Summer Solstice. It would be impossible to document everything that I did this past semester let alone the past two semesters. Maybe I'll try sometime since it sure was fun, but one thing that took up a huge part of past my semester was planning the Summer Solstice event at the university. It was for my events management class. I planned it with a partner in my class and a few other managers from social activities. Boy was that a lot of work! But it turned out good and I still love it Event Planning! That's good since that's what I want to do, just in case you didn't know!

Independence Day with my girl Carrie. Duh, Carrie Underwood and I are on a first name basis! I love the 4th of July! I got to spend it with my sisters Corrine, Alisa, and Kate in Utah! We had so much fun! It was just a fun weekend being together with good food and shopping of course. We participated in the Freedom 5k run annnnnnd went to Stadium of Fire *please sing that in your best Osmond voice* Carrie Underwood played for an hour and it was ah-mazing. I love her. Can we please just be best friends Carrie? mmmk thanks. Oh and studio c performed and so did these awesome superhero trampoline jumpers. It was pretty legit. Definitely the best Stadium of Fire I have been to, hands down.

New York City. Ok folks, here's the big one. I'm pretty stoked about this. It's basically the reason I'm actually catching my blog up. I am going to live in New York City!!! Woo hoo! I am doing an internship for the Fall semester there! I seriously cannot wait!! It's an internship with the LDS Public and International Affairs office in NYC. It will be event planning and much much more! We will work with diplomats who live there and the UN. How cool is that?! It's my dream to live in NYC and I can't wait. Dreams do come true! And I'm obviously going to run into Beyonce everyday, be best friends with Jimmy Fallon and of course I will hang with my girl Taylor Swift. Because all of this happens when you live in the City. Yeah, that's what we call it peeps. I might as well start my own show like Whitney Port. But seriously, I can't wait to experience New York in the Fall. It will be magical. I've only ever been there one day, and I loved it.

So yeah, that's why I needed to get by blog up to date, so that I could properly document life in New York City. Obviously I couldn't do that if my blog wasn't ready, obvs. I know that I missed a bunch of things in this quick highlight, but you know, that happens.

Bring it on NYC I'm ready!
