Day Three Hundred and Sixty-Five

YAY!!! PROJECT 365 is over! I DID IT! WOO HOO!!!!! It's been a pretty chill New Years Eve just hanging out with my fam and the one and only HEIDI GIBBS!!!! Yeyeah! Also trying to figure out this disaster of dates that I've messed up. I wanted to have this done in 2010 but I'll have to fix it later! It's time to party!!! Happy New Year everyone!

Tonight Doug and Ashley invited Brock, Reed, Lisa and I over for dinner and games at their house! It was so much fun! Such a fun group!

Today my Mom, Dad, and Brock and I drove the truck up to Utah, it's our pit stop on the way to Idaho. This was my view...thank goodness for ipods with movie! That and sleep is how I survived that scary drive! I took pictures of other people...but I don't if they want me to post it.

Today was my last day of work :( I'll post some pictures of the wonderful people I work with later. But something that was happy was that I got to get together with two of my wonderful friend, Nikki and Ashley! It was a blast! I love these girls and we always have so much fun together laughing, talking, eating, etc. Love you girls!

Tonight I had my first official work party. Chicago Title had their party at the Tower Club. It was great! My boss Danielle did a great job putting it all together! Garrett was in town and was so kind to go along with me! He was a great escort and we had a great time! Thanks for going with me bro!

I kinda love bags. All sorts of them. I like the recycle ones not because I'm so green and I use them at the store but it's just really convenient to carry stuff in. Anyway, my wonderful sister Alisa recently learned this about me and when she was Disneyland she got me this! She's so thoughtful! Thanks Alisa!

My parents have had the same stockings all their married life (42 years). They definetly needed to be updated, my dad even hinted to that last Christmas, and when I say hint I mean that he said; "It'd be really nice to have new stockings. I thought someone would update them by now." So guess what I did this year! I was going to be really awesome and sew the stockings but when it came to crunch time I ended up using stockings my sisters had and just decorated them!

Tonight all of the family went to the Channel Islands harbor and had Toppers pizza and then went to the Parade of Lights! Its a bunch of boats with lights on them. It was fun to go as a family, but I don't them I will be going back again for the lights! I just liked this picture of me and Bradster!

Tonight I got to babysit the Barlows and always it was a blast!!! I always think to take a picture once Brad is in bed so I feel bad that he's never in them! We were watching High School Musical 3 and Carly had the idea to take a picture with Troy and Gabriella in the background! When I took it without the flash it was super blurry and this picture was too cute not to post, just pretend like you see Troy and Gabriella!

Tonight Brock was so kind and treated me to pizza! We wanted to have dominos since they're making a big deal about how much it's improved and we used to like it before, so we thought we'd see what the big fuss was all about! I took a picture in case I wanted to send it in too!

It's been really fun to have Brock around. He stayed after the baptism to have surgery on this knee. Then he'll go back up with us to Idaho! I'm excited to have him there too! We've been having lots of fun, but he's not up for the picture taking so this is what I get! Apparently he's not as excited as I am! :)

My nephew Reed had surgery today. This poor little guy has been suffering so I was very happy to have him have this surgery so that he could feel better but sad to have to see him go through it. He was knocked out with the meds so I got to hold him for a bit! He's so precious and I'm so glad he's all better!

Day Three Hundred and Thirty-Nine

So recently my wonderful nephew Ty, who is 11, has passed me up in height. I believe I am the first one he's beat in the family. I knew the day was coming soon. You may ask what's it's like to have your nephew taller than you to that question I will answer that I feel like he's every other person in the whole world!!! Everyone is taller than me!!! For real though, it doesn't really bother me! :) Love ya Ty man!

Day Three Hundred and Thirty-Eight

Today was a fun day! It was the day of Anna's baptism and so lots of family was in town! We went and saw Tangled, played, gathered as a family, and of course we went to the baptism which was beautiful and very special. Lori's birthday was the following Tuesday and so we celebrated it. It was her golden birthday meaning she turned 7 on the 7th. I brought this up earlier in the month and I guess it turned into a big deal in their house and of course I am to blame :) I don't mind though! SOO.....I wrapped Lori's gift in GOLD wrapping paper!!! :):) I got her a hair dryer! Yep, she's 7 and wants a hair dryer! :)

The Birds were staying at Corrine and Alisa's and I went over and played with them! Always a good time with the "flappers" as Brock would say!

It's the first day of December and I just have to give my awesome space heater a shout out! It's always FREEZING in my room and so I just keep this in my room and turn it on morning and night while it's cold and it helps SOO much!! I've been using it for a few months because its been cold at nights for a bit! I'm pretty sure my room here gets colder than my room in Idaho does, kinda ironic!

Happy Thanksgiving! We all went out Granada Hills to my Uncle and Aunts house. Getting together with family is always great! I didn't take any pictures there but as soon as we got home we were scoping out the ads for Black Friday! I ended up going shopping with my friend Keriann and we had lots of success!

One of my best friends, Summer, is on a mission in New Jersey for our church so I wanted to send her a package! I thought she might be getting some from her family around Christmas so I tried to do a thanksgiving one. Well it kinda turned in to a Thanksgiving/Christmas package and I don't know if it got there before Thanksgiving, but none the less I hope she enjoyed it! I loved putting it all together and reminiscing on memories with her.

I've been teased for wearing 2 different socks every day by I kinda like. It spices up life. I've just always done it that it doesn't matter. When I did my laundry there were always matches missing so why fuss. As long as they're the same brand and fit the same (which pretty much all of my socks are) then I just grab 2 and put them on!

Tonight I got to babysit the Barlows! It was the night before Anna's birthday and so she wanted to decorate for her birthday like we did for Carly's except she wanted to do herself and didn't want just us to do it...so we let her, after all it was her birthday! :) I always have fun with these great kids! (I just have to take a moment...I am truly blessed with wonderful nieces and nephews. As I'm sitting her I'm thinking of each one of them and how wonderful and special they each are. They're each unique, hilarious, awesome, beautiful/handsome and I love them so much and can't imagine life without them!)

Tonight my Dad had an appreciation night for his clients tonight by renting out a theater showing the movie Secretariat which he and my mom previously saw and LOVED! It was fun to have something to do and see an uplifting movie despite me doubts about it...I liked it!

The past couple months I have gone over to my friends the Moody's house in the morning to babysit with Heather goes and helps at the school! I always have lots of fun! I get to hang out with Addie (5) and Lacie (9mo ish) they're both adorable...as are the 2 kids who are at school! :) Lacie is often napping for part of the time I'm there but Addie and I keep busy with lots of games, puzzles, painting nails and such! It's been super fun for me! Addie wanted to take a picture with Belle!

After a weekend away this is what my weekend consisted of...crocheting and ironing! While watching a good movie of course! Hallmark Christmas movies are starting! :) yay!

My awesome, beautiful, rockin' roommate Lauren who lives in the Seattle area came and picked me up after the reception and I stay at her house and got to meet her awesome family that I've heard so much about! It was so good to see Lauren! I am excited to get to live with her again! I had a ton of fun in the few hours I spent with them! Thank you Woodards! You're awesome!!!!
