Grandpa Jex's birthday was May 15th (97th) and I have been down to his grave before but i have always wanted to go down on his birthday or some other special day. I had the morning off of work so mom and i had the special opportunity of bonding and going down to the santa monica cemetery. it was very special and i was able to learn more about grandpa from mom and dad and also from reading grandma's personal history book. this was a very special experience for me. i love hearing about grandpa and love to learn as much as i can. i know that he is a very special man and can't wait to meet him. i have always felt a special bond to him and wonder if i knew him before i came to this earth. although i really enjoyed this time and honoring grandpa by visiting his grave, i always think of him and feel very close to him when i am in the los Angeles temple because he helped build it and i know that i can feel his spirit there. i love you grandpa!
