My favorite part of being an aunt...

Babysitting the Anna, Carly, and Mac is always fun! My friend Ashley Clark came over this night to join in on the fun! The kids love her too! We played and had mucho fun! We did pedicures, made/ate muddy buddies, tooks LOTS of hair flipping pictures and stayed up WAY TOO LATE!! ;) :) (mac went to bed on time though!) I sure hope the girls slept in the next day!! It was a blast!

Oh so lovely!

My new love!

I've started watching the food network and I love it! It's amazing how fun it is to watch someone cook! And you can learn a lot and get great ideas! I love it! Even the gross food they made is still interesting to watch like fish and stuff. I know I'm a picking eater and don't like a lot but watching them make it makes me consider trying some new food! Just thought I'd share! :)

FHE FUN!

This was one of our FHE activities that I actually remember to take pictures at, well I had Chuck take pictures because my hand were FROZEN in ICE CREAM!! We made ice cream sculptures and played carnival games like 3-legged races (or for some people 5-legged) and crab soccer! Then Root beer floats! We have a great ward! The ice cream sculpting was a hit, a friend that just moved out of the ward, Leah, suggested it and it was way cool. My group made the boom box and the missionaries judged and we won!! There was also a football a turkey and a temple!! It was def. a successful activity which is a relief because it's tough to come up with something fun every week! So if you have any ideas or suggestions...let me know!!

I love to see the Temple...

Especially at Christmas! My ward went down on the 22nd for FHE to see the Christmas lights at the temple. I have always loved to go and see the lights as i have done it all my life with the family. As usual it was beautiful! It's amazing how all the lights get up on the trees and everywhere. I love it! The only thing this year was that the nativity set up was different. It was in a different spot and was much smaller. And the props were different and there was no music and narration. Although this usual stuff was missing, it was still great and you could feel the spirit of the true meaning of Christmas.

Elder Joseph Bitner Worthlin

Today I received the news that Elder Worthlin passed away peacefully in this sleep last night. Although it is sad to see such a great man go, I am grateful that he is able to be with his loved ones on the other side such as his wife and his cousin President Hinkley. I know that Elder Worthlin is an Apostle of the Lord and I am grateful for his service to the Lord. I loved hearing his talks and know that each one of them were inspired and I was touched by them. I am grateful for the long 91 years that we were able to have Elder Worthlin on this earth and once again I am so incredibly thankful for the knowledge of the plan of salvation and that our Father in Heaven loves us. My prayers go to Elder Wirthlin's family and all of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as they have lost a loved one.
