Utah happenings...

So I uploaded me pictures to Kate's computer so that I could post them! There's not too many but here's what I've been up to!Julie Bell and I at Seven Peaks! We both got season passes! I'm so excited to be able to go whenever I want and to not feel pressure to go on every ride while I'm there! We've gone two Saturdays in a row and surprisingly it wasn't too busy!Julie Bell, Julie Bowen and I at our friend Stephanie Bonkemeyer's wedding at the Springville Art Museum. It was a really pretty venue! I'm glad I was able to be here for it! Stephanie and Julie were summer interns for Smuckers last year so they were in our ward and that's how we all met!Such a fun drive up to Utah! This is how it was the whole drive! Brock driving and me singing and dancing! :)We stopped at the border to open gifts Erica Hanson gave us! She said we couldn't open them until we got to Utah so Brock and I decided to stop at the border!!! :) Plus it was perfect to stop and mark our coming to Utah!!

This is was our first day of driving. It was nice to have the drive split and there was less stress to get there. We stopped at Reed Whittington's to visit and stay the night! It was fun to see him and his family! Anyway! There are a few pictures!

Oh and just an update on the job search...I'm still hunting and applying everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE!!! I've signed on with two staffing agencies and last Friday got a production temp job cutting fiber material for a company called Monosystems...they are making something for the new Boeing airplane! It's definitely interesting!! But I'm glad I have a little job and I'm getting some cash flow! :) It's 8 bucks an hour which is good for Utah I think and that will keep my busy until our family reunion during the week from 7-3:30!! Well that's my update! I need to go to bed know because I've got to get up early!!!

Ok so that statement above is so weird. I love it up here in Utah but of course miss home. I wouldn't say that it has completely hit me yet, each day I slowly realize more that the drive Brock and I made up here is a one way trip...at least for awhile. Melinda has been kind enough to let me live with her as I hunt for a job and then from there is will find a place to live. Oh and yes I just absolutely love job searching. NOT!! Yesterday alone I applied for 8 jobs!!! Please keep me in your prayers! I just want to find a job and this stressful part to be over!!

Other than that everything has been great! I've loved spending time with Kate, Melinda, Garrett, Leanne and Brock. Oh did Brock and I have some awesome bonding on the drive up here! It was GREAT!! And I've been able to hang out and see friends like Julie Bell, Summer Florence, Jamie Olsen, and Amy Rosskelley, and that also has been fabulous!

Anyway, I just thought I'd update you all on what's going on in my life! plus I've been giving a lot of grief for not updating my blog forever! Sorry life got crazy with finals and moving!

Oh and this is for Ashley and Loreal too!! I MISS YOU!

Since I don't have any pictures to post I'll just post my favorite video/song....I watch this at least once a day! :)

Cystic Fibrosis Walk

I was so happy that I was able to join one of my best friends (ever since kindergarten)to walk in the Cystic Fibrosis walk. Her Dad put it together along with a golf tournament to help raise money for the cause but every year I have not been able to make it and it always makes me said! It was great to be able to spend time with the Valdez family and help out Yvette! The walk was along the Ventura beach near the fairgrounds. It was overcast and that was nice so that we didn't get too hot! :)

Girls Night!

I had a little girls night with a few friends before we went to a friends birthday party! I had never been to Macaroni Grill so that's where we went! It was so yummy!

Mileah's Wedding!

Wow, I can't believe I'm posting about Mileah's wedding because I can't believe that she's MARRIED!!! I am so glad that I was able to come up to Utah for the wedding! It was so fun to celebrate this special day with Mileah! Todd, her husband, seems like a great guy and I'm excited for them!

Ice Skating!

I know I have like a billion post about ice skating but I think it's just so fun and different to go do, especially with kids! Ever since I took TJ ice skating last time he's been asking to do it again and of course Jared wanted in on the fun too! So when they were in town a few weeks ago, I told them I would take them out but no promises to ice skating, so I surprised them and took them! When I got to the door to pick them up, the first thing TJ said was, can we PLEASE go Ice skating, i just really want to go! So I said you better grab your jackets so we stay warm!!! :)

Loreal joined us and we went to McDonald's for dinner where the boys showed of their break dancing skills!!! Then we went skating! TJ jumped on the ice like he never left it! I also frequently found him starring out the glass into the other rink watching the hockey players. He said he wanted to play so bad and took home a little flyer about it. They tried to be like the guys in Mighty Ducks and jump over the side bench thing. Jared was so cute and was like jello when he got on the ice and as we helped him and held on to his hand he gained confidence and did great! He loved going in between my legs! I had a blast and those boys had me laughing so hard all night!


It was such a fun night filled with taking pictures, and the boys taking pictures of us, break dancing and some skills on the ice!! Love you boys!!!

Super Cute!

I just can't get enough of my cute nieces and nephews!! They are so funny! This was last weekend when I baby sat them for a bit! Mac just started his cheesy super cute smile and we were trying to catch it on camera!
